The weekend.
Well, I did have a half a page of stuff writtenhere, but it all was erased some how. This weekend was rather interesting. I did not get any hw done hardly, but my cusin turned 19 Sunday and I got to hang around with an older guy at my church. I would put more info here about our chat, but I don't want to talk about here anything without his approval. I looked at the car that was dropped off at my house during thanksgiving weekend for a few minutes. It is going to need a few repairs. I noticed that the oil was pitch black. It was blacker than my computer, but I did not see any water in it or anything that said that there was something worng with the oil other than it needs to be changed. So, I looked at what I call the "burp keg". Most people refer to this as the antifreeze over flow or something of that sort, but I like my describtion better. It was empty. There was not any antifreeze or water in it, so I looked in the radiator, I did not see anything there either. This is bad. I called up the mom and she did say that it steamed whenever the heater was used last winter and that they have been trying to keep water in it. With this new info, I looked in the car and saw that they was a little bit of water on the flor board below the heat exchanger. Just for your information, an heat exchanger gets the hot antifreeze form the engine and allows air to blow through it so that you are warm durnig the winter. Sometimes these things leak after a few years. So, I have officially found the first thing that is going to cost money to fix. So, the list of stuff to do now on the car has gromw to: change the oil, replace the heat exchanger, flush the coolant, and check out the car some more. I need to check the spark plugs, the spark plug wires, the distributor cap, the coil, driver train, and much much more. The car is a Buick LeSaber. I think it looks like an '86 model. Well, more on that subject later. I am sure that most people here are really not into mechanic work, so I will not go on any longer today. Well, I have things to do and places to be. Later
