Thoughts of a college student late at night.

I splurged today(I should probably say tonight) and watched a movie called "Ghost in the Shell". This it the second movie. In order to really understand everything happening in it, you would have had to watch the first movie and the first series. If have not already guest, it is anime. Certain series of anime I find intruigueing. This series is one of them. In the second movie, the main subject is "what is the purpose of life?" Well, this particular person has a twisted view. The movie is pretty hard to follow. I will probably have to see it again to find out more details. One of the biggest issues in this series is if the soul is part of the body, mind, or something more that we can not see (or that is how I interperated the movie). I know the answer, but I did not have to look far. I know about the Bible. I think that alot of people know what the Bible has to say and either twist it to make it sound like they want it or ignore it because they don't like what it says.

I have been thinking alot about Ecclesiastes. In Sunday School, our assistant pastor is going over this book in the Bible. This is one of the books that every time I read it, something new jumps out at me and/or I just really understand what is happening. I keep reading it and realizing that I am doing just like Solomon, except that I am not as smart as he is and get caught up in my sins. He keeps repeating "under the sun." I believe that when Solomon says this, he is talking about doing everything unde the hot burning sun and not under God. It is so easy to do things under the sun. Money, video games, and all sorts of things are so easy to become addicted to. Yes, I am addicted to computers at times. I hate to break off this train of thought, but I can no longer form complete sentences. Time to go to sleep. Goodnight.

There is no shame in going to bed before midnight.

I almost never stay up past 11:30, and, look how normal I am....
